About the Hardaway American Indian Museum Foundation

The Hardaway American Indian Museum Foundation was formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 2024 whose mission is to help establish and support a state museum in the Town of Badin featuring Hardaway Site discoveries and American Indian contributions from circa 12,000 BCE to today. The museum will highlight discoveries from the Hardaway Site, a National Historic Landmark, and celebrate American Indian culture and history. The museum will work directly and co-operatively with Morrow Mountain State Park, North Carolina State Parks, and the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.
